Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair copier machines and related equipment.
  • Perform routine servicing, such as cleaning, replacing parts, and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Address mechanical issues like paper jams, misfeeds, or print quality problems.
  • Diagnose software and hardware problems reported by customers.
  • Provide solutions for issues related to printing, scanning, copying, and connectivity.
  • Guide customers through troubleshooting steps remotely or on-site.
  • Complete service reports, logs, and records to document issues, actions taken, and resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, parts replaced, and customer interactions.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing copier machines and related hardware.
  • Knowledge of software drivers, firmware updates, and configuration settings for copiers.
  • Basic understanding of network printing and connectivity (e.g., Wi-Fi, Ethernet).
  • Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure problems are fully resolved.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical customers.
  • Patience and professionalism when dealing with frustrated or inexperienced users.
  • Ability to manage multiple service calls, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all service actions.
  • Diagnostic tools for copier machines.
  • Replacement parts (e.g., toner cartridges, rollers, belts).
  • Software tools for firmware updates and configuration.
  • Travel to customer locations to perform repairs and maintenance.
  • Assist customers over the phone or via remote desktop tools.
  • Occasionally work in an office setting to document service actions or prepare equipment.
